Day 1 - Book fair and a new place to eat!

This day threw me a sporty start. I got selected for the school football team, which was not only shocking to me, but also to my friends. Friends still doubt me in why I took the decision to get into the coaching(school team won a match, which doesn't bother me, and I don't even blame them! I will call myself a non sporty guy(weird, right), and am often made the match official for every sport, more than playing in it. So I give fouls, instead of being fouled. Anyways, I was greeted well by my team(my true friends who actually support me in whatever I do), and they taught me how wear my stuff which I was totally new to(face it, not that big a fan, but was slowly developing interest). Turns out, this sport is way more interesting than I thought it was! Passing the ball, scoring a goal, being a temporary goalkeeper was fun, and as my people(yes, I have people{elders after all}) say, play with your interest, skills will just come.

Well, after getting home, I was really expecting it to be a normal, boring day(love those days) , but then my brother had some other plans. He gave me a offer, which got me excited. He and one of his friends(really great friend) were going to a book-fair, and he invited me. I accepted, and then was introduced to new stuff. I, for the first time ever stepped into Churchgate railway station(Mumbaikar going into Churchgate for the first time? Well, i'm a Navi Mumbaikar). "Very modern station", I murmured to myself, as I for my brother's friend. We together walked to the book-fair. We also gave a guy directions, asked him to follow us, and felt like Kings(yeah.). Reaching the book-fair, they were selling used books for every kilo a hundred rupees. Something new. I only bought one book - "1001 really stupid jokes", so that this book can train me for my future. With that thought, my brother bought 4.5 kilograms, and my friend bought 4 kilograms.

We were Hungry. My brother's friend and him had gone to this great place where you get beef curry and Malabar Parathas (Indian Flat-bread). I said yes, and I made the right decision. Fabulous Food, for less than 500. Wow! Then, we enjoyed ice-cream sandwiches by the beautiful view and pleasant breeze of  Marine Drive, and then went home, after dropping my brother's friend.

I had a good sleep while my brother was listening to the heavy metal bands(not that I don't like them, was tired). Because my cook hadn't come, we get outside food(thank you lord!). Royal Chicken, Rummali Roti's and Naan's. Mouth watering! After we savored our food, we really enjoyed the new season of MasterChef Australia. While this was getting me hungry, it was time to go to bed. After one AIB comedy podcast, i was fast asleep.
